an update…
Mamaw had another EGD on Monday in Birmingham. They biopsied the growths in her stomach and it is cancer. Also, it has spread to her spine. The oncologist came to see her yesterday and it is inoperable and she isn’t a candidate for chemo or radiation – she is just too weak. They are giving her just a few months and hospice will take over when she is home from the hospital. It is by the grace of God that she is not in any pain whatsoever – none. That is almost unheard of. I ask that anyone who is reading this continue to keep her and my family in your prayers – she is such a sweet sweet person – and I’ve been so blessed to have her in my life. I’ll be heading down to Alabama in about ten days to be with her and do whatever I can to take care of her. I talked to her today and she seems to be in good spirits – completely at peace with the prognosis. Her strength is so admirable. I love her so much.

Oh Mandy Im so sorry! Spend as much time with her as you can, thats what matters the most.
