happy girl
I can’t imagine being any more content than I am right this minute. I’ve been hanging out with my amazing children all day and the older two are sleeping right now… Josh has his first track meet tomorrow, and he was so exhausted after his sleepover last night at Jonah’s house that he just crashed early today!
Cameron got a book tonight after Piper and Josh were asleep and said “Mommy, I just want you to read me this book and rub my back”. How could I turn that down? So we were reading “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” and he says to me “Mommy, I wanna make some honey”. I’m smiling and staring at his cute little toes and I say “Oh yeah? Do you know how to make it?” he doesn’t even hesitate before he replies. “Yep, you just gotta get some bees and squeeze it out of them, Mommy!” I just LOVE being a mommy. I can’t imagine anything cooler in this whole world. I, of course, explained to him how honey is really made and he really can’t wait to go to someplace where he can see it and taste it fresh. I will for sure be making that happen for him.
Piper and I made homemade banana muffins tonight…
We made a big caeser salad tonight with homemade mashed potatoes and I marinated and roasted a turkey breast tenderloin. It was SO yummy and the kids were super happy about it! They cleaned their plates and I was a little shocked, considering that they kind of turned their noses up at first glance. They had requested fried chicken, but I didn’t want to weigh Josh’s tummy down too much before his big meet tomorrow. Dutchess was pretty impressed, too. She sat there very casually and waited for a crumb to drop… She’s so beautiful. Don’t you agree? She blinked in this pic and Josh says she looks Chinese. heh.
I will definitely be taking lots of pics tomorrow at Joshua’s first track meet – I am so excited to go and it’s supposed to be a BEAUTIFUL day! I know this is two posts today, but I just had to say how happy and absolutely IN LOVE with my life I am today. I am so very blessed to be a mommy to three of the most amazing children in this world. I am so very proud of them. Thank you, God, for letting me be their Mommy!!
Good night, everyone!

Your kids are amazing. No argument here!
Hug them all for me and tell them I miss them.
