LoViN LiFE!
Happy MONDAY!
I’ve been awake since 5am – I just woke up and couldn’t fall back asleep. My sons slept with me last night. My bed is massive, so there’s more than enough room for us all. Anyway – I totally laid there quietly and watched two episodes of Spongebob before I decided to get up and make breakfast for the kiddies. (i heart spongebob)
Ella spent the night with Piper last night, so I drove her to school this morning in Glenwood. Piper is home from school today with a sore throat and an earache. She’s quite the princess all the time, but especially when she’s not feeling 100%
Cameron is watching ‘The Jungle Book” with Edjer right now while I work away on my ‘Human Growth and Development’ homework. Can you believe this is the last week of the semester for me? It has gone by SO quickly! I only have a little less than a week before Summer Semester begins! I have two finals this week and It’s actually over! I have to give myself a big pat on the back for sticking it out, though. A lot has happened since I started school and it’s been really hard to press on at times, I’m really proud of myself.
out of the mouths of babes: all day yesterday, my sweet little boy told me he was “in love” with me and he wanted to marry me… then he “broke up” with me yesterday evening because i wouldn’t give him more cake before bedtime… but when i was rubbing his back as he drifted off to sleep, he assured me that he loves me again. =) ahhh, motherhood – LiFE is GoOD!
I have to say – life is beautiful. The sun is shining and the birds are singing – the sky is oh-so-blue! I am seriously happier than I ever remember being in my adult life. My children are happy and their smiles say it all for me, – I feel like I’ve finally eliminated all the negative and replaced it with positive, happy, and good. My grandmother’s presence is with me every day – and I must admit, she was right about everything.
